Mo Shi Wei Wang - Ch. 8 - A Small Break

kinda boring in story progressing compare with the last human.
the later is much more interest in term of story.
many things are illogic. well, just 8 ch let s give this a chance.

Theres way to many issues with this and "the last human", trash writing, trash pacing, inconsistent art, and every chapter is way too short.

well might as well give it a chance
though incomparable to the last humans

btw thanks scantalators

Hm... I hope nothing that I called happen... Though some has already happened and some will probably happen 'cuz he himself confirmed for me... Well, it's not like I can really expect much from this type of second chance apocalypse... Well, I'll drink this manhua from now on...

I'll be utterly happy if the sister becomes ruthless and powerful. I'd be endlessly happy for knowing that she won't be just another character for the MC to protect and morale boost for him to get stronger faster. But this is something I wouldn't bet on...

"they can only guarantee us a few years of safety"
That... sounds... like... a pretty good deal...?

"Do you think that the army would listen to a civilian?"
If you had specific knowledge regarding what was happening that no one else possessed, and could probably prove it by providing some of that knowledge? Yeah, I imagine someone would listen in those few years of safety...

(I mean, it's entirely possible he's right and it's smarter to not join them, but I think he could probably have been more convincing, lol)

Something that I enjoy in both textual and visual forms of storytelling is the food. Seeing an indistinguishable edible blob is kinda 🙃

Why is the army always a no-go in these types of fic? I'm skeptical of the MCs reasons.

It inst her first time to come in and bared witness the sight of the magnificent and glorious D. That excitement to calm her nerves ? :3

I hoping she adapts, becomes/learns in the right mindset to survive and gets way stronger. Her being immune to the blood rain has to mean something... please...

Please not another one where the armies useless :/ at least til we start seeing these "monsters" evolves... rather see them keeping the monsters at bay and over the years start to get worn down.

The problem is probably what happens when they're no longer relevant. They might not let the civilians they took in move freely enough for them to escape the shitshow that comes down on them eventually, and he probably won't be able to fight freely enough to power up during those years so he'd be behind the curve on whatever the mutations have been doing out in the wild.
