Mobile Suit Gundam Katana

This is the third Gundam manga I've read from this author (Sono Yoshihiro) and while his art's great, and his characters are generally well designed, his plotting and story arcs tend to fall flat past around the midpoint in all of the works I've read.

Don't get me wrong, I rather liked much of this series and its characters and also the predecessor, Orera Renpou Gurent-tai (We're Federation Hooligans) but I can also really see the flaws too.

Edit: Also, it looks like the translators stopped before the end, and right after a major plot twist too. Dang.

This and his previous work are just really fun romps through the Universal Century setting, and this one in particular leans heavily on how wild Zeta Gundam got in regards to Newtypes. It makes fun use of mobile suit designs that were never seen outside of video games. Highly recommend.
