It's a possibility that it's a spinoff, and there's a real possibility it may have been cancelled. But I don't think the afterward page has any mention of it getting axed from the parts that I can read. Just in case I sent it to my TL for him to tell me exactly what it says.

I drew this, while thinking of those hot summer times when the A/C is going at full power in a room so to balance it out you end up covering yourself with a light blanket. ( I don't do it myself though).
For now, this is the end of the story between Minato and Kokoro. If there's the opportunity, let's wait for meeting them again! And also,I ask you to give a little bit of love to that blanket that has been in the closet for a long time... Maybe, one day, "That blanket" could appear one day in front of you(?!). Well while fantasizing, Let's have a warm relationship with our blankets at least....!! warming up forever...!!!

@ShrimpScans Eh no, it means the opposite. It's the standard "the story is over but the characters live on" remark that creators like to say whenever their work reach the end. Anyway, there is no need to analyze the afterword when this series is already listed as complete on the author's pixie account. They do have an ongoing series, but it's a different work.

It's practically "please look forward to my future/other works!"
