@TRNRLogan From what we saw earlier, the heroine seems kinda normal.
@stressedcoffee She may not actually be a full-fledged human, with those demon thingies she mentions from time to time, and her father may not be human as well. And considering her father talent, it can mean their bloodline is special in some mystical ways, enhancing their intellect. Or they are normal humans and she is naturally gifted(genetics and stuff).

Well the OG heroine never met lotie because she was already dead when the heroine appear. So the problem probably lies on her mother or lineage.

The father is either a demon or a superhuman prodigy, nothing strange about the daughter to inherit it.

Especially since we only know as much as her coming from the forest and "falling from the sky"
I am... just from that, Lotte is clearly not a normal child.

The father's quick change is suspicious, it makes me think he was aware of the book since he chunked it first into the fire.
