@rymar - I guess this is ecchi manga, that's why. But recently it feels like the author should take a break and draw hentai doujinshi of that manga, and return to making it more funny and less sexy when he's done.

I don't think it's a straight up crime to put your hands on the monster girls sexually anymore, but a lot of it is still new trial programs or something. Such as the thing where the MC is supposed to be picking a girl from his homestay harem to actually marry. Public decency laws were the real issue here in this chapter, I suppose. Some of the girls trying to force the issue by calling it part of their culture was kind of a problem too, the cultural exchange is a two way street so their culture needs to be respected and all, but it doesn't mean they're allowed to have sex in public in Japan either.

@mruggeri2 I'm pretty sure the cannibalism thing isn't a 100% occurrence with the mantis. I forget what it was but it only happens some of the time, like if they're excessively stressed out or something like that?
