Monster no Goshujin-sama - Vol. 2 Ch. 10

Thank you for the chapter.

I wonder why he didn't speak up, he was clearly suspicious of the balloon fox.

This manga doesn’t deserve a 6, it should at least be 7. Why is it lower than some fucking SAO spinoffs, this is better than SAO, at least, despite some plot holes (i.e. all of the minions being women, that was never properly explained)

This is around the time I stopped reading the novel--although I think I stopped reading it because it stopped being translated lol.

From what I remember, his next minion is one of those seeds that got stuck in one of his hands? It grows out a vine. I didn't read past that so I don't know what its capabilities were, but I thought it sounded neat enough. I also remember seeing novel covers of what I assumed was best girl Rose, having made a more feminine body for herself.

okay this plan was dumb. There was no reason to chase the fox... they don't have to go out of their way to find a new tamed monster, he has no active taming abilities, they just join him spontaneously. Also, him being princess carried by a girl is pretty pathetic. Sure that's the nature of his abilities, to rely on his monsters, but it's still pretty lame.

@firosahoge
He is supposed To know his skill by now or atleast he could ask his monster girl what they Feel before gettin tamed but he still chase à bunch of mob..

What kind of BS situation was that? 1. Don't chase something that's leading you to a trap. 2. Don't let your emotions get in your way.

She maybe a powerful spiderwoman, but she's still mortal.

Without spoiling anything. I will just say that he his skill isn't as straight-forward as it appears to be on the surface. There's a lot of info that's kinda being chopped out of the manga that explained in a bit more detail why he hasn't figured his ability out completely yet. In fact, he still hasn't figured out why he can only tame certain monsters out of all the countless monsters out there. Also, his combat powers aren't much better than an average human. Those monsters that he's around could basically rip him to shreds with little effort if he tried to go toe to toe with any of them. Most of the monsters in that forest are at least that strong. Which means only people with special abilities can really fight back with any chance of success. That spider that's princess carrying him is one of the strongest monsters in that forest. She's an irregular monster to boot which makes her something like the equivalent of a boss or champion monster from various ARPGs. That said, its very hard to actually kill her.

I do wish they would have conveyed more of the novel here though. They left out some important insights here. I won't mention any of them because I know manga tend to rearrange the order of things a lot and there's still a chance they might cover the stuff later on.

@GrimThoughts Rather, I think most 7s should be 6s. Don't get me wrong, I'm a die-hard lover of isekai trash as much as the next guy, but it's also mostly uninspired lazy teen writing. And frankly, this is one of them. There's nothing really substantial here, and I don't actively find myself looking forward to the next chapter like I would for something like Solo Leveling or Kamitachi ni Hirowareta Otoko.

@grimthoughts many people forget 6 is not 'awful' technically 5 is 'average' So this being a 6 means is slightly above average (which honestly it really isn't this is about the average of what comes out not) but I more agree with @kisato in that really it's more like some things are rated too high. There is too much of a quality difference between something rated 7, and 7.5, but then hardly any difference between 8 and anything below 8.5

That's what happens when you are greedy. Some people could tell stories of goblin caves.
