at the moment, i despise eva but i believe this is because she is so blinded by her love and hatred she has for tenma. it seems to me that she still has love for him but because of him being a major criminal suspect there is no way for her to express her feelings

Ok I take it back, she doesn't deserve to die a horrible death. But she really is so stupid that she doesn't realize how SHE abandoned him and how much of a money whore she is

People who critique Eva by calling her a lady of the streets (etc) don’t seem to realise that Eva may be flawed, but she is human. She has lived a life of wealth and greed supplied to her by her father and not from her own merit. She does not fully understand what “love” and affection truly means, but Tenma is the closest she has to that - and she knows this.

Eva is driven by the man she pushes away (because she is not used to the love he gives) but simultaneously finds herself coming back to him because of her loneliness.

Eva is the definition of a tragic character.

Eva's a well written character and I feel bad for her ... but I would prefer if she died for a small bit of redemption
