@kisshouinreika Though I've got nothing but the manga itself to back me up I'm sure she's mute and other people can't read her mind. If anything I think she either writes her speech down on paper or on the other person's hand, as shown for some dialogues. The reason being it is not shown for every single piece of dialogue may be simply due to make the conversation appear to flow easier, as well as allow the artist to draw the characters in different positions/ actions that's not always Margaret writing down her thoughts. Though that's just my guess.
