Mother's Spirit

It leans hard into colonizer claptrap, but I'm not sure what I expected? It wasn't completely terrible though.

Despite the inherent issues with the "savage x fair-skinned-damsel" trope, the story is a fun light read and gave me the warm fuzzies. It definitely scratched my "I need a romance!" itch.

Even though I don’t like the colonizing and coming in with the idea that ‘they’re savages and need help’ the art was beautiful and their relationship was very sweet.

The art is sooo beautiful... 💕💕💕
I hope to see another story of another Lutah warrior falling in love again..
Do you guys know if the writer have another story or side story connected to this?

Volume one was way better than volume two. The latter was just boring. Still, Qaltaqa was so foooiinee, to the point my sister kept saying why does he settle for this weak guy instead of a beautiful woman? I kept saying that's not the point.... Lol, she's not a fan of BL.😏
