I understand that the guild wants to tie a string person down to them and to get her to do higher ranked quests but the guild clearing has a least some understanding that she has a past with nobles and that caused her to want nothing to do with nobles. The constant attempts to raise her rank and get her to join a party could result in her leaving the guild and there is also the possibility that they do raise her rank and bc of that she has to interact with nobles which could very easily end with her offending a powerful noble or otherwise causing more problems for her that cause her not to be able to do quests in that town again. For example a noble trying to target her daughters for marriage or to get at her.

You would think that the people in the guild, especially the guild master herself, would be aware of Shirley's tendency to handle things as quickly as possible, especially where her daughters are concerned.

As for MC-kun there, I'm neutral on him. He has a good head on his shoulders at least, but I'm not really sure what his use in the story is so far, aside from being a witness to FMC's strength.

1) No author-san, you can't convince me that Kyle being prepared would have saved his party from a FUCKING DRAGON.

2) Kyle's party was hunting goblins, but the guild fucking forgets to mention that dragons have been sighted along with them, MULTIPLE TIMES

3) Kyle is a terribly boring character and his screen time is wasted when it could have been better spent on Shirley and her daughters.
