Moto Saikyou no Kenshi wa, Isekai Mahou ni Akogareru - Vol. 2 Ch. 12

Compared to the WN, there's a thankfully complete lack of "Pay by Word/Page Count," where the same statement is repeated then explained then concluded while saying the exact same thing.

I didn't feel it as much in this arc because saying more about a sword swing just felt like a second attack and felt like more action, but then it gets back to slice of life and the repetition just sunk my interest.

Manga form is so much better.

Well, he is the 1st of the Four Generals to appear, and as we know, the first one is always a weakling compared to the other 3.

What i cant understand is:
1- Werent the girls in the same cell? so were was he healing his sister for the other two to not notice him? 😂
2- The hell does "imitation of self-taught move" actually means???

@Tearsax

in the wn it says in his previous life he traveled and fought a ton of people and after seeing a move once he could imitate it so maybe that is what it means

villain: i will kill you imbecile kid
MC: *deflects attack* "this attack, lol..."
villain again: i will kill you imbecile kid
MC again: *deflects attack* "this attack, lol..."
villain again: i will kill you imbecile kid
MC again: *deflects attack* "this attack, lol..."
villain again: i will kill you imbecile kid
MC again: *deflects attack* "this attack, lol..."

an eternity later ...

thank you for your work translators.

Kind of meh at this point. Finding it hard to care about a character who decides to kill someone but also says "I will give you plenty of time to feel regret and despair". Sounds like an idiot to me. Even more so when just before the fight he agreed that they need to get out as soon as possible. MC seems to be saying: You need killing, I've got the chance to kill but lets delay it because I need to go. Huh, where is a brick wall? Maybe if I beat my against it enough this will seem reasonable . I know it is a plot device but some are so over used and stupid that it makes it hard to care for a story. The MC seems to talk more than most villains, has he learned nothing from all those lists of mistakes villains make?

@JavelinJoe easy there, I know you didn't sign up for this, there's no need to be upset.

it'll be fine, just read something else, then come back to this after the next chapter is released, everything will be okay.

I hope. I mean they could just do another chapter where nothing happens again but I doubt that, at least I'm hoping they won't.

That back half was stupid. Can we just oneshot him and move onto the SOL again? Like... this arc was kinda wasted.

while it's funny that the villaindude being toyed by a brat, the whole chapter seems uhh.. pointless, or unnecessarily dragged out. The mc doesn't even bother to disable the dude's movement even though he can, hopefully it doesn't turn to villain got desperate-->attacks weak allies--> allies got injured, mc made surprised pikachu face then raged and oneshot him.

As a former demon lord, I'm sighing in disappointment. Has the quality of demon generals really dropped this much after my era ended?

The villain should be clued in that the MC was weilding a wooden stick and a metal bar. And yet he can disable all the spell thrown at him. I guess it's rage then?

I'm amazed how these authors can write someone who's supposed to be smart enough to plan something so convoluted like what this villain is trying to do, then make them so stupid they cant see OP MC is playing with them for quite a while
