Moto Saikyou no Kenshi wa, Isekai Mahou ni Akogareru

Cmon, novel is like 1000 better, for all who are interested in this genre just read novel, its GOOD! https://readwebnovels.net/novel/ex-strongest-swordsman-longs-for-magic-in-different-world/
YW!

Well 12 chapters of Meh.

The MC is good, mature adult in a boy body, godlike character in a new world, why not. But others characters are dull (the blushing girl is franckly annoying). The story seems pretty much average so far. The art is OK but the rythme is awful. It's like I missed entire pages sometimes. Weird cut from action and combat and it's not really easy to read mouvement...
I'm stopping here.

I made it 14 chapters in, but I'm dropped it. It's just not interesting at all. The battles just consists of MC cutting everything. The dialogs just drag on and on and on. Holy shit.

Artist can't into drawing combat scenes. Author can't into writing combat scenes. Both insist on dragging combat out as much as possible. Dropped.

Super Slow Releases. If the next Chapter takes 2 Months again I will be dropping this. It's just a pain in the *** to wait 2-3 months for 1 Chapter ... sometimes even 4 Months ... this is ridiculous

This is horrible. The art is nice but the combat scene is boring and barely expressed an emotion. Their face is basically the same with large eyes and different hair styles and colors. Yet the plot doesn't succeed to covered the bad part too, not that good.

Can someone else please pick this up please? They're up to chapter 22 in the raws and the current translations are incredibly slow.

As thankful as I am to the translators, i don't really like the art style since many scenes lack emotion and sometimes idek what is going on in a panel. And the plot is boring and overall just wasn't a good read for me so I'll be dropping this. But again, thanks to the translators for bring this out anyway!

This is just shit. The art is tempermental and very rarely has something drawn well (or consistent) and the writing is very poor, sometimes you get pages of meaningless exposition and then unexplained poor transitions.

i suspect mc has the bullshit level of being too op that his skills cant be appraised.... anyway. mediocre as fuck. deserves a 5 not a 7.

I feel like I'm having a stroke while reading this. Everything is so vague and people act like they have half a brain cell, and their reactions are really stunted, even if something amazing happens. In ch 9 one of the girls gets attacked with magic and the other is like "oh no why did you do that please don't do that" like lmao what she could be dying.

i still wonder why manga artists that can draw at least somewhat well end up adapting novels worse than dogshit.

man, fuck the entirity of the isekai genre.

(TL;DR at the end)
(I don't know what the hell is spoiler tag)

I have once tried to read the WN of this and I gotta say, the translator was wasted for this boring shit. I read until I don't know where but I know that I once caught up with the translator. The story is shit to say the least. The characters are all divided into the two extremes of the spectrum. The good guys are all saints who does no evil while the bad guys are all demons who wants to see only the destruction of the world. This element doesn't change at all throughout the story and it gets boring very easily. In addition, the author is ambitious without the proper know-how. He tries to set up this foreshadowing and fail horribly. In the novel, there's this one organization that tries to do something and there are foreshadowing for every few chapters, but it's really useless. It's far too vague that it's boring to read, and even if you did, you know no jackshit as to what they might possibly be. Furthermore, their goal is already known from the beginning so why the hell not just reveal who the hell they are? And, AND, the protag-kun's harem just keeps on growing without a properly good reason. It's just, quite literally, picking up harem members from every place he stays at. And the evil organization doesn't actually pose a threat to them at alk because they're all OP. Or if not, Soma is. And that's what I dislike about this story the most, the evil organization is portrayed as this menacing group of people but what they really are are small fries, all of them. There's no real tension building up, the foreshadowing's useless and is just a chore to read.

TL;DR (Not rant): Characters are either absolute angels or absolute demon incarnates. Evil organization's foreshadowing is a chore to read and is useless since their goal is revealed right from the beginning. Protag-kun keeps picking up harem members for no real reason. And lastly, the story keeps striving to be what it's not.

Reading this feels like watching someone fall down a flight of stairs. I feel like I should be trying to stop it from happening, but everything's too fast and senseless to do anything about it. It's like trying to enjoy the flash cards of the cliffsnotes of a completed work, with characters being shown to us out of context and with a collection of overly pretentious skill names slapped on them. And for all of that, it's so empty! The backgrounds look like an empty multiplayer game server, and the only other person keeps switching between two characters while the protagonist runs around an empty map. There's four characters, we only really focus on three while having the rest of the "world" described to us. Did they forget comics were a visual medium? Was the source material even worse somehow? I don't understand why this has to exist.
