@ZeroWWE to be fair, he is in his secondary character body of a game so it would be prudent to see and test if the world itself is like the game he is playing where death is temporary. With that context , he is sane by saying that people die when they are killed after he found out the difference. Right now he testing what are the aspects of the game that are present in current world. He is now grasping the natural laws of that world. Before he says it he tested the known exploits of the game and found it somewhat fit so when he found out about people's behavior regarding adventuring he concluded the death is temporary aspect of the game is not present in current world.

If you convert that to USD, that'd be around 40 dollars. Just one potion is 120,000 of in game currency. That's something like 1200 USD if we're basing values off the room. Requiring 1.2 billion in game currency, it's no wonder nobody can afford it, I guess. That's enough to pay to stay at the inn with meals (7000 in game currency) for 470 years...
