it's just a visual to show like. For once, the thing he's *thinking* about doing is what he's *actually* doing. The chapter titles are LITERALLY saying 'this is happening, this is real, this is not an imagination sequence'.

Also on a side note, I feel like 'I'm really good at reading faces' is actually a good like. Way to say telepathic without saying telepathic? It's believable, and it's close to the truth- especially since we know her telepathy isn't true. Maybe that'll work out for her going forward.

I can't wait to see how this will wrap up! Only a few more chapters left! I remember stumbling upon this manga early on, and at first wasn't too impressed. Glad I stuck around as it's really progressed since then. Definitely giving it a re-read once it's all done.
