Mujintou de Elf to Kyoudou Seikatsu - Vol. 2 Ch. 7

Government is only entity I can think of that's simultaneously capable and incompetent.

that must be one thin ass shirt to be able to see even the areola that prominently

@Soulwarfare
Not the dumbest thing in the world, especially if they are fast to breed.
turn life prison inmates/decentors/people you want dead into baby factories, and let the spawn loose in places you want to disrupt... granted this is less useful for japan and more so places that profit from war or would profit from disruption of a populous.

The last line made no sense at all, so I checked the raw... ofc, I found a mistranslation...

The line says 'I feel the same.' What the heck do you mean, 'what a strange idea' ??? Are you trying to say that he doesn't want to live with her? How did it go from having the same thought to a strange idea...?

Is it just me that finds It odd that the MC is the only male with more then a few lines? Makes me doubt there will be anything but females amongst her "friends"

You know, the story would be better if the government side are a bit more realistic, be it in approaching or ordering. Like using male as mediator or leader at that 'special' division.

I just can't shake the image of beta MC that lived in dorm or going to all-girls-school because called by his nephew/master. 🤔

Then again, why do I care? 😂

Is there even a single governemnt in manga, that's not full of corrupted, backstabbing assholes?

Is there I LN or WN? The store just seems too compressed and they are dropping a lot out to force the story to progress.

This is giving me flashbacks to the knight who ended up in the modern times. Living on a farm with an "Ossan" twice her age. It was all fine and good untill the government got involved making claims and did some inhumane stuff to the knight. Which in turn ruined the series for me as a whole.

@blablabblub To be fair is there one irl? Some may be better at framing themselves in a positive light, but at the end of the day every government is rife with corruption, it's just the level of corruption that varies.

Didn't the government simply did some, pretty reasonable, tests on her and after that let her go with the understanding that she would cooperate with the studies on magic?
They put her under monitoring, sure, but she is pretty much allowed to do whatever she wants as long as she does some regular blood tests.

Truth be told, she is being treated way better than any foreigner in japan from earth itself.

So goblins only breed with humans and not elves?

@alidan

Those people still all have rights and rape is not acceptable. What you're suggesting infringes international human rights. Of course, this doesn't prevent governments from doing this, but if it's not done by a totalitarian state that can silence the press and people, you should expect that heads will roll if the public learns about this.

More importantly, I'd like to know how the government's "research" led to cross-bred goblins. Did they use a captured otherworlder? Everything is wrong about this research.

To be fair, we already knew this branch of the government has gone rogue from the behaviour of the previous negotiator. I assume the real reason they're not sending more military to finish the job is that they don't have these resources since this branch is very secretive. They literally had to send goblins to help with the attack. How can anything they say be trusted?
