People saying the story is just now getting crappy. Here I am thinking it was crappy from the point when the MC literally said he was intentionally preventing the heroes growth in strength because of his ego. "Oh yeah, I realize that the heroes growth out performs everyone elses on a one to one scale, but I'll choose a hidden subclass that is 'almost' as good, then fuck with her growth in strength so that I'm always ahead of her". The hell kind of logic is that?
