I don't want my gut to be right here, but the moment he said, to defeat Munakata they have to become Insects. That prolly his goal, I think. and also that he become one of the antagonist but but but, there are many other variables that are yet to be factored in as just in this chapter there is another man who hates Munakata and he seems to have mutated.

Well, this is exciting none the less. Hope this continues the same.

I liked this chapter. Interesting progression with the tragic backstory and some panels that gave me shivers(p2 and p10).

@Lithe I agree. I wondering if it might have worked better if the author reversed the order he revealed things with i.e. starting with her being hospitalized and feeding off her daughter -> explaining the insect research -> revealing that ryochi is the cousin. This reveal feels more impactful than the initial description of the past via the myth in ch14. That's three chapters that would have been building more sympathy for her while we learn more about her nature. All in all, knowing she ate was terminally ill and fed off her father(ch17 p10-11) is just way more shocking to me than the fact that her and Ryochi are related or how/why she found him (ch14 p11-12).
