i don't really care if he trained hard, my idea of him will not change. he is such an asshole.
why don't he tell his dad to go beat MC's mother? lol he probably couldn't anyway, so why bother.
even the fighting in the 'next generation' is a issue, since the guy haven't got any of his parents 'skills', so how can they fighting be considered as him winning against the mother?
if it is all about 'A skill' vs 'B skill', him not having the skill makes the fight meaningless. MC still can pack a punch even classless, imagine if he got his mother skills.
and you can see how confident he is, by searching for MC the next day he discover MC is classless, i wonder if he would have done the same if the blessing was positive? maybe he would met him outside the shrine to not give MC even time to think about the fight lol
