I didn't catch any arena rules so maybe their order was pre-decided, but tactically speaking isn't it best to send Arel out last of the trio?

Firstly, this would wear the enemy team down and leave their stronger members for Dragon Fang's ace in the hole.
Secondly, this would get the opponents to drop their guard significantly half-way in.
Lastly, this would give Arel a chance to observe A-class skills and steal learn them.
