hahaha. love how this story treats the adultery lightly and acknowledges the maid basically seduced him and it's in a certain sense unavoidable on both sides. accurate. yes technically adultery gives the wife a right to separate but it's foolish for her to exercise it
This situation is just so messed up, but they managed to resolve it peacefully without long term resentment!
Still, this man is a piece of work. Not listening to his son, assuming he's guilty, and resolving to violence... That's one of the worst betrayal you can make.
@cksn
not here. being cheated on doesn't entitle anyone to anything. also, it's not like zenith and lilia would have any problems if paul got kicked out, they're both upper rank tier adventurers.
paul's just kind of an ultra shitty husband in terms of fidelity. the problem is, he's pretty good in a lot of other ways (tho not all). like everyone said, it was bound to happen. better lilia than someone else, is the thinking
Lilia isn't and she has a permanent injury. That's (part of) the reason why she's working for Paul and Zenith instead of the Royal Palace. She's not a warrior and wouldn't be able to fight like one. Zenith is...probably a more capable fighter than an average adult man but she's mostly a healer. In terms of capabilities, she's definitely at the bottom of that S-rank tier party.
Nah, she trained with Paul but that's it. There was never a mention of her adventuring. She worked as a maid in the Royal Palace but got injured so she's now working under the Greyrats.
