I really hate how Rudeus became all submissive, normally when anyone would treat him badly he wouldn't just take it right? And after the time skip he gave of a cold depressiv feeling for one moment that is in my eyes far more logical and interesting... but now this? Sylph isn't even realizing that he isn't really fine... nor is she saying anything to him about who she is rather she became the pet of that princess... shouldn't Rudeus be more important?... Not liking this waste of pages prince either...

@Izaya_Onisai Rudeus being submissive is because he's depressed AF right now from Eris leaving him. Either way, he's not exactly submissive but rather doesn't want to do much. He can send everyone in the academy to the afterlife in a single spell if he wants to but he doesn't. In fact, he would've already committed suicide had he not clung to Roxy's teachings and examples(yes, this is canon).

This is the reason why his reverence towards Roxy shot up after the time skip.

Sylphy not saying anything to Rudeus is because she's being paranoid that he's forgotten about her. She's thinking that she'd be so heartbroken if he suddenly goes "Sylphy? Who?" Remember, she's never been the confident type. Since she's so afraid, she can't say anything, although she wants to be with him.

Nice thing that ive stopped my MT marathon at the last chapter in the time it was that one when Eris left him, ending the arc.

Ending a manga marathon right in the middle of a not that exciting arc make you lose a bit the ties with the series.
