Bruh I was kinda disappointed when I saw the match-ups for my first two. But hey, if it ends up beating OPM, then the others shouldn't be that big of a challenge.

And just so everyone is aware:

Sakura Mitsutsuki is fucking hype. OPM's opening is overrated! But still, vote as you like. Gotta have an honest tourney.

Zombieland Saga OP - Adabana Necromancy vs. JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable OP3(v2) - Great Days (v2)
This one was shockingly easy. I actually thought that I'd give it to JoJo cuz memes, but that changed after I gave them both a good watch. Zombieland Saga's OP, like Asobi Asobase's from the previous phase, is brilliantly subversive if you watch it without knowing what the show actually is. At least until the last 10 or so seconds, then it kinda blows it's cover. The only real flaw is the excessive use of SFX throughout the OP. As an individual piece of music, it's a bit of a drawback, but in concert with the visuals, it makes the aforementioned subversion all the better executed, so it gets my vote easy. That, and the JoJo entry just felt kinda boring compared to the usual fair.

Fire Force OP1 - Inferno vs. Mob Psycho 100 II OP - 99.9
At first glance, I thought this would be another "I hate you so you get to choose who dies" match-up of the phase, but I was pleasantly surprised to find I had misread the Mob Psycho 100 entry as the first OP. Inferno takes this one as easy as Adabana Necromancy, though for different reasons (obviously). Inferno is a much more intense song, and it's something that I could listen to almost any time. 99.9 however...not entirely to my taste (somehow) and honestly one of my least favorite OPs I've heard (despite the first OP being one of the best). The visuals for Fire Force are also more attractive to me and I just generally enjoy it more than Mob Psycho's. That's it. Just petty shit to make the difference.

Shaman King is my childhood. Ramen Fighter isn't. Nuff said.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya Season 2 OP - Super Driver vs. Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto OP - COOLEST
Simply. Amazing. Just kidding Seriously though, the pure wackiness of this OP is absolutely brilliant and sums up Haruhi and the gang in the best possible way. I also just love the design of the visuals. The comic book style pops in just the right way to keep you focused, and in my case, bring my pulse up a couple extra BPM when paired with the music. Speaking of the music, the climax of the song is also one of a kind, and sticks with you even after the OP has ended. Seriously, I'd listen to Super Driver for DAYS if given the opportunity. It's just that kind of great. Simply put, I had a smile on my face from the first note.

One Punch Man OP - THE HERO !! vs. Gintama': Enchousen OP3 - Sakura Mitsutsuki
This one was one of those "Yeah, how did I forget this one" kinda match-ups. Until I clicked On the Gintama link, I had forgotten about the pure unadulterated awesome of OP13. This is the Gintama OP that I can listen to anytime, anywhere, and still enjoy the crap out of it even without the visuals. Why? Cuz SPYAIR that's why! Really though, THE HERO!!, and the visuals behind it, have great impact, but Sakura Mitsutsuki is just a damn good piece of music that doesn't need more than one vocalist to realize and can easily stand on its own, and it proves itself in this match-up with ease.

There you have it! That's my vote for Phase 2! See you guys in Phase 3!

I love Great Days way too much to let a mid-tier (at best) opening beat it. And imo, v2 is the best version of Great Days, don't FUCKING @ ME.

This one is very difficult to choose. I almost want to abstain from voting on it, but the artistic techniques used in 99.9 really make me appreciate that one, so my vote goes to Mobbu-kun.
