Pro-tip boys: go to the ER when you have really bad pain (unless you're in the US and don't have insurance).

i discovered it while investigating different types of brain cancer, the one my team did a presentation of was a type of astrocytoma.

Bruh, not even joking, I was a brain cancer child. My tumor was actually benign, but it was discovered when I was 13, and ended up being a pilocytic astrocytoma if I recall correctly. I have a second one that was found later and doesn't grow, so we decided to leave it in there and only get another MRI if symptoms started showing. So if I ever act retarded you guys, it's because of the tumor, I swear.

Rereading my comments and lol, I'm now realizing that I would most likely not have shared this kind of stuff if I wasn't on these painkillers rn. But I guess it's not a big deal that other people know, I just don't want it to seem like I'm trying to tell some sob story to get sympathy points or preferential treatment lmao. The experience I had was many years ago, so it's not like it's constantly on my mind. Although, it did give me a better appreciation for life in general, I'd say.

Regardless, ty for your kind words everyone, you're all bros and I feel closer to you all now that I've shared something personal. So, uh, @Richman, say something extremely personal now to take any attention away from me please.

That fucking sucks I remember I had to accompany a friend of mine to the restroom to make sure he was alright while he passed them out and all I could hear were his agonized grunts pretty sure he wanted to scream but he held it in since he didn't want to look like a bitch. We still gave him shit though we were grunting at his ass for at least 2 weeks.

Yeah bro, that must've sucked for him to have to pass them in a public place. First time I had them I was driving and had to pull over to call someone bc I didn't know wtf was going on lol. I've read that mothers who've had stones rate them as more painful than even giving birth.
