Holy shit, I went to check what accent the black-haired lady was using to justify the accent, and I got the shock of my life at chapter 83.

Though I think the black-haired lady is speaking in a Kansai Regional Accent. I didn't read further as I didn't want to spoil myself too much. That and kanji without furi hurts my brain.

My guess is that the blackened windows and armored door are simply necessities born out of the nature of her and/or her daughter's demonic powers. Like, you know how Lorem's apartment had its drapes etc. replaced to be fire-resistant a few chapters ago, right?
