That's not how we use the word news, though when it's on its own. You'd need some other stuff going on there, like "these pieces of news" where these is really attached to pieces instead.

In modern english, news is an uncountable singular noun. As such, "this news" is correct and "these news" is not. Same reason you use "the news is" instead of "the news are" and can't say "a news".
