Musuko ga Kawaikute Shikataganai Mazoku no Hahaoya - Vol. 5 Ch. 105 - This is a Rescue Plan!

Remember that the store owner usually uses echolocation, so any detailwork with sight is lost.

... so, are we gonna find out why Theresa has one side of her face covered now but not in that one casual shot? Kinda excited.

I still find it fucked up that the lil' sister's first reaction to her sister, wasn't: "holy shit sis I haven't seen you since you were sold to slavery, I have no idea what to say"
And Teresa's reaction to her sister, was: "Oh! My little sister! How you doing! What a weird coincidence to find you here!"

I don't even feel like the "they're demons they have no common sense" card can be played here. Their relationship feels way off and unnatural, as if nothing happened in their childhood and early teens, and they just occasionally met on the way home. The little sister went around to look for her for a reason, for the very least, how about showing a bit more sincerity and emotional baggages towards someone who was literally sold off and peddled like a cheap, broken object, ffs.

oh hey I just though about this but it probably has been capable for a while but how many side characters and groups could have their own spin off that could be totally interesting already?

@Solipsist True, but to be fair, wasn't Teresa rescued by Alice before anything really bad happened to her? I may be remembering wrong again, but IIRC Alice found her not long after she'd been captured and took her in before the bad guys could. Now, even then, being sold like that in the first place is a terrible experience, but I think going the whole way with a more detailed depiction of that sort of trauma (and portraying its effects in the reactions of Teresa's sister) might have been a little too heavy for what is a fairly lighthearted manga, even in its more serious parts (the bits concerning the human-demon war).

@solipsist
IIRC Teresa got kicked out, picked up by traffickers, and then sold to Alice, which would be 6 or 7 years before present day.
Also, I wouldn't put much stake in "common sense". Common sense says stay the fuck home, but we literally have people protesting a virus. And honestly, there are too many blanks in Teresa and Dolores' background to really judge how they reacted imo.

Also, there's at trend toward not dragging out reunions in this series. Merii walked into Lorem's living room for the first time in at least 2 years and Lorem's reaction was 「おめーメリィか」 or something like that.

@jwchibi
Two more chapters before this reunion mini-arc ends just so you know

Give it up, trash. There's nothing there for you to use as an excuse to try and make her waste her time on you.
