Musume no Tomodachi - Vol. 4 Ch. 31 - Runaway Daughter

His next line better be "I'm in the middle of an emergency. My daughter is missing. Would it be possible to reschedule?".

Cuz' if he loses his job after this, I fucking swear, I'll get Elon Musk to build a portal to the manga universe just so I can slap Miya across the face.

Worst case scenario for the girl: she gets the 177013 experience

Best case scenario: she just dies lmao

Everything that miya is going to win and that her father in total stress is going to come back to koto, very bad reaction!

What a fucking awful daughter.

Just look at him now, he have no one to rely on, i would not be surprised if he try suicide in the next chapter if Koto don't talk to/save him again.

He doesn't even know where the last member of his current family is now, or if she is even alive at all.

Sorry, but you can't defend Miya.

I'd like to see her face seeing his father suicide at this point, what a sly dumb bitch. Father should commit fake suicide and disappear from view too. Have some nice spontaneous vacation in Okinawa, middle-aged victim of domestic mental abuse. Only then that trashcan of a daughter would understand what is like to be well-behaving victim of reality, with no father to rely on and self-loathing for daily activity.

Why is everyone shitting on Miya so hard? Her actions are far more relateable than half the shit the the dad has done so far.
How else would you expect a 15 year old kid to react after she finds out her dad has been going behind her back and fucking around with her 15 year old friend only a year after his wife died?
Yeah, her dad's dealing with this shit too, but he's an adult and should've had a better grip on the situation.
Instead he just bottled his emotions up, started a relationship with a high schooler, and barely talked to Miya until the events in the manga occurred.
He wasn't even there when his wife died, so to Miya it looks like he doesn't give a shit.

@flaine THANK YOU. God. People don't understand the reader's privilege..that we see everything. We KNOW dad is going through a lot more than he lets on. Miya doesn't, she sees him being a creep and emotions are running hot on all sides... I haven't been a teen in 15 years now but I can still see where she is coming from, even if I think she is going to regret what is surely coming with this boy and beyond.

HOLD UP
The cops stopped him, but they didnt take a deposition for his missing daughter?

@zeronguyen
If it goes the super stupid drama part, shes getting drugged passed on like what happens in Emergence.
if we go mild drama, shes having sex with blondie.

Whatever the outcome, his job is now on a thin wire, and it might cause him to get fire or worst demoted to far away branch.

are we really going down that path ?
That piece of shit miya will get herself pregnant, she will only create more problems and still act like she's the victm
her dad will take the blame for everything that bitch did and things will just snowball into a big shit show

Just put yourselves in the daughter's shoes.
What would you do do/think if your dad started a relationship with your underage friend?
That'd be creepy beyond measure to me

@boag technically the japanese local cops just a bunch of useless just go patrol on bike............

Correct. Currently that poor guys is no option between lost his work, or his daughter. I think he would rather lost his work than his daughter although she just a moody teenager. She still his daughter afterall and I think he will definitely jump out of a cliff or hang himself in Fuji if he thought he really lost her.

K so i have been defending the actions and reactions of the daughter from a psychological standpoint. And I do believe that what she is doing can be traced to legitimate emotional problems brought about by her failing to deal with her mothers death.

THAT BEING SAID.

I can't defend her actions any more. She is very likely about to cost her father his job due to her inability to grieve in a healthy manner. and while her father didn't help matters by keeping secrets from her, or by using a roundabout way of helping her through her childhood friend whom he was sexually interested in, he has done nothing wrong and her actions are not forgiveable. The father isn't completely in the right mind you but morally he has done nothing wrong, I am just saying he could have handled the situation better.

Miya needs to get her shit together or else she is going to lose another parent.

How the hell can anyone with a functioning brain side with the retarded daughter after this? Can you imagine being the parent in this situation.
inb4 the blonde fuckwad tries to rape her which is most likely what he's gonna do.
