Musume no Tomodachi - Vol. 5 Ch. 37 - Anonymous Complaint

Ordering your children and making they do everything you want them to do while completely disregarding their feelings, that was something you do as a boss to your lower subordinates but even some bosses listen to whatever their subordinates have to say, heck, she just tried to selfishly ruin everything without care to at least, even her own daughter, if she is really a proper mother, Koto's eyes shouldn't have been that devoid of light

give him a damn break goddammit, he already has a shit tons to deal because of his trash daughter and now he's being snitched by his gf mom ffs

@relic626 overbearing? Dude she's goddamn crazy that's what she is, this had nothing to do with her caring about her daughter at all, she's obviously psychotic and need someone to abuse which happen to be her daughter. There is nothing remotly sane or of good faith coming from her.

happy ending: dad dates the (adult) co-worker, adopts koko to "fill void in her heart" and makes up with his daughter. They all then move out from Tokyo and away from all the shit, the end

@relic626
Bitchin? Me?
Constructive conversation?
Oh you mean like "fuck the mom lolz"?

I like the manga so I'll continue following it thank you very much.
You're the ones reading the wrong manga with your "give the poor dude a break" comments
If you want some fluff between an adult man and an underage girl look elsewhere

I like that this one takes a more realistic approach where there are actual consequences to such a relationship

@jazz9
You lack understanding of the MC's state of mind, the story focuses on MC and his struggles to cope with the harsh working lifestyle and his loneliness.
You're projecting your standards and ideals along with whatever half baked knowledge of the law where you live. They're in Japan keep that in mind.
So far, from your comments throughout the series you've been demonizing the MC and like i said why bother reading?
You clearly have more dislikes than likes for the series.

@relic626
I'm not demonizing the MC
I empathize with his struggles and hope his finds some comfort but looking for it in a 16yo is not it imo
That's not demonizing him

And contrary to lots of people here, I'm not projecting myself as the MC
I'm taking no sides, just a spectator who's enjoying a story with a cast full of flawed (and downright crazy for the mom) characters

It does seems like being critical of MC's choices isn't viewed well here though
I also empathized with MC's daughter when she was understandably shocked and disgusted at the revelation and acted as a teen can in these situations, but that wasn't a popular opinion either
Most preferred to call her an ungrateful bitch and hoped she'd be raped or that his dad would abandon her so I'll leave it at that I guess...

@jazz9 You can't pretend there aren't two sides following this manga. Both sides are nasty.

One side sees Miya as just a teenager, who can do no wrong because she was brought up this way.
The other sees Miya as someone with moral agency, who has been the direct cause of much of the misery in this manga.

insane Karen is at it once again, hiding ur own child's shoes
she needs some intense therapy
knowing japanese culture, the guy is gone for sure 💀

K
Kisaragi's mother is clearly insane. Every character in this manga seems to have psychological problems. I wonder what is wrong with Honma (the young female
colleague of Kousuke) and Misaki (the smoking guy-friend of Miya).

Regarding the complaint I agree with what MrBeaver, gronkle and Starbright wrote in this chapters comment section.

zoinks scoob

dude had it coming when he started thinking with his other head tho
