this was fucking raw. most times when i see endings like this, where a loved one leaves a letter for someone and the reader doesn't see any of it, it's supposed to be only for the character's eyes. a moment where we're separated from the protagonist's shoulders so the two characters can feel like the only people in the world. thanks so much for bringing us this.

That's what I initially figured. It's just that (at least in Legacy Reader mode) the only clickable part is that thin white vertical line, so I was just wondering. Anyway, much thanks for scanlating this. Was a good read.

You're giving the author too much credit. You could argue by the same logic that this story is "only for the character's" eyes. It just feels like a cheap way to get out of writing out the letter - it may be intended - still doesn't change the end result.
