The problem is that her smile in this chapter seems to be the only show of affection. Maybe I'm just dense, but if she's being "very subtle" and never shows any affection then... it's not really fun to read it, if you hope for romance. At least I feel like this is the case. I still liked it myself, but feel bit disappointed
