My Classmate Tanaka-san Is Super Scary - Vol. 1 Ch. 4

Wait did he teleport? How did he get behind her so fast ON STAIRS? I would have understood if he grabbed her from the front (but he was behind her) or on a level plain. Unless that is a really wide staircase with huge stairs, he couldn’t jumped down and skip stairs without very easily losing his balance and falling himself, and either way the space looked narrow, so he’d have to go around her. He would have had to drop all the books, go around her, go to a lower stair, and reach out his arms to grab her all before she fell. That is superhuman. Or like magic? IS HE MAGIC?!

@Orekisan69 On page 2 the word "excessive" is misspelled. I like how Nakajima would still show concern for her despite being cautious around her. Thanks for the chapter.

@TNT261
What are you on about? He was already behind her in the previous panel.

@TNT261
He was behind her, they were going upstairs but......... The last panel is kind of weird, he is in that moment ON THE SAME LEVEL (stair) with her or he is a GIANT.

I mean, even if you are a level(stair) below, it's kind of hard to be taller than someone (at least with a normal standard Riser of 20cm~)

She's very cute and the author draws her expressions amazingly, but tsunderes are annoying as hell.

Yep, in webcomic she really was scary at the beginning. Here she's just a tsundere.

This is dumb as fuck but this was the only thing I could think of when I saw this panel. (Also now that I'm thinking about it I think it's spelled Appa)

@Reimans @TheOneWhoSighs Okay yeah. I reread that page and the panels are just weird. He’s behind her in one panel (i didn’t notice; thx for pointing out), but for the panel where she’s falling (on the same page and much larger) he’s nowhere to be seen. Not even his silhouette, and it really doesn’t do itself any favors. In the panel where he’s behind her he looks a little off to the side and when she’s falling we see the full view of the stairs down to floor behind her (even if in that moment he moved directly behind her, we’d see some part of his body from the angle we were shown). Then the last page happened. I know the effect it was going for, but I can’t tell what’s going on at all. The stairs are gone entirely, we don’t see where the books fell (if she was in front the books would have hit him or fall with her), and I can’t tell how he moved. And honestly they both should have fallen if she was in front. Those stairs didn’t look to large and he was carrying heavy books himself; her falling into him and books falling on top of that should have made him disoriented enough for him to fall as well and then she would have fallen on top of him on the ground. Either way, the last page makes it look like they are on the same stair which again those stairs don’t have enough space for, and he still should have fallen too. And yeah his size is weird. Their feet are level so they should have the usual height difference.

And yes, I realize this really doesn’t matter and the type of story this is, but it wouldn’t have been very difficult for the author to have art that pays a little more attention to detail. All he needed to do was either make it so the whole scene took place in a level hallway where she tripped and almost fell backwards (or forwards), but he caught her (and both dropped the books). That or have the mc fall down too when she fell into him and have her be embarrassed because she fell on top of him. Either option would have been super easy to do, and not frustrating and confusing for me to read. Rant done. I clearly care way too much about four pages
