My Death Flags Show No Sign of Ending - Vol. 1 Ch. 3 - Self-Performed Rescue Act

I like it, just the other day I caught up with the wn translation (it is sooo good, it made me cry in some parts in his childhood arc)...

You want to see how a tsun acts in real life?

Scroll down to his personality. Actually pretty touching.

Oh man, I wish Harold's fire scene had more impact.

It was a lot more powerful in the novel when it went through some of his struggles with suddenly waking up in another world knowing that he was someone who would be pushed into a role where he would be hated by everyone and eventually killed.

Even worse, his mouth had a filter that turned everything he said into arrogant harsh words and he almost immediately ran into an instance where he didn't have control over what he said or did as the body spoke and acted on its own with him stuck inside. He didn't know anyone, didn't know if he could go back and see his family again, and he didn't want to die.

Also, there was so much more from the viewpoints of others that portrayed him in interesting ways. Aaaah, I need to reread the novel again.

I'm so glad the author is writing again and the translator is still working on it (though it will be slow because of issues with COVID and University for the translator).

This is one of the good novel when read it my imagination is like making a kyoani tier anime(kinda hyperbolic much but you get it)

Sad tho it get less traction in Japan, I hear

I'm surprised the butler is such a good nature person. Usually tyrannical bosses attract sycophants, scum, or people who just keep their heads down and their eyes shut.

I imagined this differently, with a little more drama.
This adaptation to manga didn't really capture the intensity of the opening act.

The manga is too fast paced. I remember when reading this in the light novel how dramatic and great this opening act is. But in this manga it just feels like events happen->conclusion. There is no climax or monolog like in the novel showing how the mc really feels and how the butler really feels about this events

If can play his cards right when the MC intends to gain control over the family his parents shouldn't be able to do a (CENSORED) thing...I
A general has better control over his troops with loyalty than with fear.

The manga does skip a few bits, but from what I remember, they are just things like fooling his parents to get the permit and money for a sword in the middle of dinner. The important parts about Clara and Colette, as well as the butler are well put together. Overall the whole thing is going great imo.
Most importantly, I am internally screaming reading this. I love the story and characters so much from the LN.

Wait why did MC use fire magic after colette left, I don't get it.
Edit: nvm I'm dumb
