I don't understand the black-haired guy. I assume he is the ML from the way this is going but anyway, I don't get him. One second he is all determined to make the distance between them closer and the next second he is already giving up. He has one this so many times. Make up your mind and stop confusing her! Either pursue her hoping to get with her or give up!!
Both guys are no god for her, I'm starting to realize. I definitely no longer like the other guy since he keeps pulling her into his shit even though he has no control over his own life and he knows he will mess her up. He didn't grow up at all and the thing he left her for in college is still there hovering over his life so he should sort it out or fuck off. The black-haired guy was my least favorite in the beginning but because my opinion of the other guy plummeted, the black-haired guy seemed like the better choice for a while there but now that I think about it they're both too caught up in the past and they're no good for her. Neither of them changed and the shit that separated them from her in the past never changed either so they're stuck in a cycle
