His attitude is a normal one for a straight man. For a person not attracted to the opposite gender this wouldn't a very comfortable situation. Still at least he is still in a relationship with her and trying to fix the situation. He just doesn't communicate his feelings with to her, so she doesn't know he is unfortable

Thank you for translating this, I'm enjoying it a lot! That being said, in regards to your AN at the end, the boyfriend is being amazingly open minded. It genuinely shows an incredible level of devotion for him, as a straight guy, to stick with his significant other through this kind of trouble. Most guys would likely break the romantic relationship off immediately, and even that would be somewhat reasonable. He's going above and beyond what most people would expect.

Since finishing up the chapter, I've talked with Cheeeka (a.k.a. Kate, the translator) about my frustrations and she was explaining to me how, especially in such a conservative country like Korea, gays are still scrutinized and hasn't come as far as a lot of Western countries. There's also the factor of getting labeled as something that you're not, which isn't pleasant for anyone in any situation. I also might have projected myself onto Yoojin a bit more than I should have since I personally wouldn't have found it uncomfortable if my girlfriend suddenly turned into a man (as bizarre as the situation presented in the series is lol) Maybe that means that I'm not as straight as I thought I was

The end note from the translation group made me feel irritated. His reaction is normal for a straight man. If my boyfriend suddenly turned to a girl, I would find that is a big turn off. Sure I will stay with him and try to help him turn back to normal but no romantic interaction because I am ultimately not attracted to someone with the same-sex. My brain just isn't wired that way.
I kinda agree with the translator. I don't expect the MC to be attracted to him/her atm at all, but you'd expect a bit more...idk, empathy? Especially seeing as he apparently loved her/wanted to get married to her. It just feels like he's more preoccupied with how it's affecting him rather than how it's affecting her.
