My Girlfriend Is a Villain - Ch. 8 - You've Picked up a Clingy Gourmand

I like how it kind of gave the feeling that'd he'd lose the cook-off because of his high confidence, like Li Si Si's abomination was actually delicious. Made it seem like the trope was going to play out but then he just won like he should have.

Chocolate mashed potatoes sounds like one of those things where'd you have to be really experimental to make it really good.

wow, epic climax, subverted expectations in a weird way, writer's guild award to author.

@Rei-is-Lei man, try it, the texture might not the greatest, but it's delicious especially if you prefer milder taste...

i feel like this gonna be the "she's the old but forgotten childhood friend that he made a promise with, before he took a nasty hit that gave him amnesia that made him forget to meet on a promised day before she/he had to move away" kinda plot

Or something more realistic like "Meeting at a meeting of clan bosses, and those two where promised for each other in exchange for peace. She still remembers, he doesn't"

So now the ranking for final relationship is 98% black haired monster , 1% loli calamity and 1% big girl

Pretty sure if you google "Chocolate mashed potatoes" you get put on a terrorist watchlist since you're basically thinking about making WMDs in your kitchen.

Anyone know any manga where they really liked a character like Wang Xi (sleepy, food girl)?

Only asking because I feel like the sleepy, munchy girl archetype is impossible to hate but I can't think of any examples where they felt super impactful to me. They always feel like background art(background art that lets the author draw two things they probably really want to -- food and large breasts). Wondering if they've actually place highly on characters polls or w.e.

Liked the chapter though. Chocolate mashed potato discussion(it's sounds too rich/sweet but I believe someone would do it) and redhead smiling in every panel made it an easy read.
