My Home Hero - Vol. 1 Ch. 7 - 20th Year of Partnership (v2)

That yakuza in the cap is way too smart for his own good. If the parents have a next target, he should be the one to die next.

I don't know, somethings off about this wife to me. Even if she's 100 percent on her husbands side, this entire situation would freak anybody out even a little. My guess is she wanted say she's killed someone before if the husband had said the same.

too much muh divorce in "adult" story even i forgot that many marriage actually last a long time
his wife is quite a freak tho

Everyone is too competent in this manga, to the point that it gets weird how that good for nothing yakuza son even managed to create this situation.

If no one was competent, this manga would be the usual generic crap, and I wouldn't be scanlating it ;P

The only thing that beats a paranoid person is an even more paranoid criminal organization. I just wish there was more explanation as to how/why the mob seems to have zeroed in on the MC’s schemes so precisely. Like Occam’s Razor, it doesn’t necessarily make total sense to bug this family when they were only supposed to be looking for this missing guy. I would just assume he got drunk and fell in a river somewhere.

@gum_rummy It was mentioned the yakuza are keeping a close eye on every single acquiantance of the dead son, and in MC's case it was because his daughter is the girlfriend plus dead son was supposed to be at her house. I guess as time passes the MC family acts the most suspicious out of everyone, what's with them carrying a big luggage everywhere. Also I'm not sure if they zeroed in on them completely, glasses dude did give the yakuza enough money to increase surveillance everywhere. (Sorry still can't remember the characters' names)

I really do get the feeling that the wife has killed before. Either way, the writing in this story is really interesting. The MC is incredibly smart, but then again, he’s a writer. It makes sense that he would panic and think of things that he would write in this type of situation.

Genuinely super impressed with the hat guy. Hat guy might be the smartest henchman I've seen in a while
