My Home - Vol. 3 Ch. 55

there are reasons horikawa never gets fired despite being THE COOLEST DUDE EVER absolutely ridiculous. everyone loves him AND he's actually good at what needs to be done

e: GODDAMN MAI IS CUTE

Thanks you for translating this, sure was a great ride.
Can't say much about the ending, everyone has to make a choice. Her mom made hers, and she made one herself. It is life.
But Mai being together with Yoshioka is enough to make me smile, and top of that, they still being a family, she and her dad :)

i hate the mom. but that last conversation...i guess mai loves her mom, a chat without contempt like that...i mean it could be her friend, but i doubt it. i wanna hate the mom, but yeah, their love life is complicated, i guess. the fact she goes with another man is fucked up no matter the reason tho, especially her reason is only because he didnt took her seriously...hell i hate the mom.

That was really bittersweet, a fun ride though.
Thank you for translating this!

GJ Yoshioka. You got your wish even if its just for one page.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Well, at least it was a happy ending and thank you @Denji.

The real problem is what are we gonna do for Munko now? Memeko is almost over too, and that leaves just Raika Days.

EDIT: ZOMG, another Mai-chan manga incoming: https://mangadex.org/title/39821/you-re-mine

I see a lot of people calling Mai's mother selfish and I don't think that's quite fair. Mai's mother made the error in believing that she could "save" her husband. Just because you want to help does not mean you have what the other person needs in order to be helped. It is a bitter lesson to learn that has left a lot of detritus in its wake.

She was right to remarry. She could not handle her ex husband and his ways. How she handled things was imperfect and true to her character in thinking she was "saving" her daughter. That's life.

Interesting manga, but I feel like it didn't really go anywhere and the characters and situations didn't evolve enough. Not a bad read by any means, but I feel like it's the weakest of Munko's works I've read.
