My Horse Is a Fox Spirit? - Ch. 4

...the fuck is the proofreader on, a mare is a female horse. (Male horses are called stallions, or geldings if neutered; English 101 class dismissed.)

Most cultures used mares and/or geldings as war mounts and general working beasts (and still do) because stallions, being up to their eyebrows in testosterone, are unruly and difficult to handle at the best of times.

@RNDM1 I said that “shouldn’t she be a mare” meaning “shouldn’t she be called a mare cuz she is female?” I know what a male horse and female horse is called and what they were used for. I kinda messed up my wording there. But well, it could be understood with the rest of the note.
