I really hate to ask this since I just binged all the translated chapters and now really love the story but I heard a rather nasty ending spoiler, so could someone who has read the novel through to the end either confirm or deny this:

At the very end of the story Dani-i's friends, this happy little merry love bunch, all permanently forget her besides the one black hair guy who loves her, once she manages to make him remember her. Please tell me this isn't true! I know that this possibility exist considering her weird disappearing situation that happened a few chapters back but I REALLY don't want them all to forget about everything they've been together through! That just seems like an insanely cruel thing to do to Dani-i since I feel that she's slowly learning to truly love them as her real friends and not just novel characters! ;_;

she actually ends up with Jiho (silver). The spoiler I read said he manages to get his memories back by going to Dan-I's world, comes back to their world and apologizes for forgetting her even though he swore he wouldn't. Everyone else doesn't remember her but they start over as friends I think. So it's kinda bittersweet? But I wouldn't say it's totally unhappy.

And I feel like I have to say this because everyone always has a negative reaction when they find out she ends up with Jiho since Chunyoung got more moments with Dan-I early on, but Jiho's really sweet underneath the sarcastic outer layer and I expect a lot of people will be more open-minded about (and even actively root for) him once the web comic gets to his side of his story with Dan-I. His love for her is very pure lol.
