What the heck is “The Line Of Guardians”? Perhaps I just forgot because I’m reading too many comics or because this one has had periods of slow to no updates, but I don’t remember that particular term being used to describe him and his family.

That would actually be my fault. Sunghoon's ancestors were chosen as the protectors of Rangii's seal, hence the title of "guardian." In the first volume, Saehee explains that these guardians have no special powers unto themselves. It's a meaningless title.
I meant "line" as in "line of succession," but I may have made a poor decision there. Thank you for reading! If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask.

What the heck is “The Line Of Guardians”?

Read chapter 0, it says "Protectors" there but its the same thing.
The gist of things is Gojoseon and Ungnyeo (Bear-women) sealed Rangi (that being short for Horang-i that means Tiger) and Gojoseon selected a human (well since there are Phantons I have to point that out) to protect the seal, his family are descendants of that person.

I suspect there is more to this considering were things are going but that is were the "Protectors" come from, his family been looking after the seal on the Tiger.
