She gets better. I won't explain why, because the reason is both tragic and hilarious, but she's no Narae. The fox girl gets development in a way that Narae never does.
Y'know, that's actually a good point. The author screwed up by having all of Narae's potential development in the past. We keep getting references to Narae's bratty childhood days, but we never see it, so what do we care? The only chance she had at getting character development was in the third volume, but no one even remembers that because nothing happened.

Yes, Narae should been about her involvement with the Cow Bear Tribe but that kinda gone nowhere with the whole thing about the Bear and the Tiger that was kinda very important kinda got put on hold.

I dont think Narae is bad per say but it seems the author connected her with the Bear Tribe to go on with the whole Bear/Tiger rivalry over Hwanung but then it switched to the side characters and then to Nyangii taking a central role and we never got back to it and that been going on for what? 12 volumes now? and by the look of things even by volume 23 its still not gone back to the Bear and the Tiger. And since Narae is supposedly involved with all that the story cannot really do much with her until we actually get to the Bear.

@Dijon that's good to hear.
I actually would be fine with Narae if the author would have her more dere moments. Let's say 50-50 instead of the 99% tsun 1% dere she is now. Tsundere characters can make for interesting stories but I never truly get the appeal of the ones who are always violent and abusive, especially when the main character isn't allowed to fight back. The fact that I'm not a lolicon and the heroine who should appeal to my tastes is made so detestable doesn't help.
I uunderstand that this series started with her and main character already in love with each other so their relationship had to be rocky or else they would have confessed in chapter 1 and Rangii would never had her chance. But now that the harem is established the author should really tone down her violent tendencies.

I like Narae's body. She should chop her own head off and let one of the other characters stick theirs on there like Land of the Lustrous or something. The head absolutely needs to be the one to take over though.
