@Reyven My thoughts exactly! If all these knights on this floor plus those from the initial group would form an assault unit, they could probably break through the orc encirclement & escape to fight again. (Please accept my apologies for being a cretin & using logic to evaluate this story.)

no apologies needed, this story has a very illogical premise; the only way to explain it is if someone actually brainwashed the entire castle (but princess is somehow immune).
