Her personality started as trash and evolved into street trash.
Dying continuously has now made her competent and sly.

I can see the princes just handing the Knight commander over to the Orcs as a revenge.
That knight is most certainly treasonous, she might even be a demon in disguise; no knight would let a dangerous prisoner(Witch) out.
