She is true Miko while her older sister doesn't wield that kind of power, just for the damn plot but how can they thrown away they own family like that
@Siquall Well, they tried to make just one. It's not their fault that two popped out *SARCASM*
Also, by what arbitrary criteria did they say "This one good, that one bad"? Did they flip a goddamn coin? Cause our MC doesn't look like she'd be any less resplendent than the "Surely a miko" with proper care. 90% certain their identical twins so...
Okay, while I may not know ALL the monster horse myths, the ones I AM familiar with usually eat children. So, lucky Alice.
im pretty sure that even if the priests had seen them both they would have picked the sister, coz she's more 'Miko' like for them and the parents would have said the same thing
@Blackbird@Siquall@icarushector :
Here is a MTL of a portion of the webnovel description : "My sister was beautiful and I was raised by being discriminated against by my parents because she looked like an angel."
My guess is they are not identical twins, and the "parents" started playing favorites based on appearances, only reinforcing and increasing the divide, and as a result never really bonded with her, but were forced to keep her for circumstances, like people in the village knowing about the twins so abandoning her would cause issues.
Cute but I'm put off by the story having parents toss out a child to die with no further reason given than the other sister being "special". I hope this is expanded on in future chapters.
