@Velsy Most females spiders will eat the male after mating, scientists call this a suicide ritual to give nutrients to the female so the male can pass along better genes.
Some male spiders do actually get away though after mating.
And yeah some female spiders will allow the male to hang around her webs, but the male usually messes up the web (kinda like trimming it down) so other male spiders won't come around in a sense.

Idk why, but I did some research on spiders right after this chapter lol...
