i thought that the scenes that chapter went further than needed but then the childhood friend pointed that out and said he wasn't into it. it was the point of that chapter.

yeah, this entire volume has surpassed everything that chapter did and seemingly with no point. don't get me wrong, i can be into it. it just seems like such a jump.
