Takato becomes even worse. After planning a murder suicide with this psycho guy, he doesn't go through with it, but she still gets hurt and loses her memories. Takato decides to manipulate her and pretend they are still dating. She never actually loved Takato, her first love is Hayata.

I can't speak for everyone, indeed, I can only speak for myself, but I will say that this is one of several series that started of reasonably well, but took a rapid turn for the worst and plummetted to the very bottom of the enjoyment barrel. Let me put it this way, it's like walking along the sidewalk on a bright and sunny day without a care in the world, feeling all happy and overwhelmingly joyous and then, all of a sudden, squish, you've stepped in a piping hot pile of fresh dogshit that stinks to high heaven, a horrendously revolting stink that makes you wanna puke your guts out. It's a stink so bad that, no matter how you look at it, you're gonna have to throw out the $200 pair of Nikes you just bought as that hideous smell will linger forever and ever, no matter what you do.
