The propaganda is strong with this one.
The constant cheering on for japan, and the "we must protect japan from foreign invaders who are here to ruin our culture" gets overused here.
It's mentioned way to much and not portrayed in a clever way. They beat you into submission with it every single chapter.
If it was more implicit it wouldn't bother me as much but it's said by the characters as if to remind themselves what they are fighting for.
 
The best parts were the school scenes with his teacher.
It would have been better if there was some motivation behind the invader's actions.
 
I've been waiting for this manga to end for years. Though it's plain it's somehow entertaining and intriguing.
Idk i have a lot of mix feelings about it. You see a lot of potential not being used.

HONESTLY - I think this is better then the Author newer work with the ghost girl. This at least is terms in characters is better. Though in his newer works it's shown vast improvement too. I like how he reuses some plots as well. (For now at least)
