Natsume Yuujinchou - Vol. 24 Ch. 99 - Beautiful Dreamer

I love seeing Natsume's story progress, but the oneshot-like chapters always fill me with peace and delight. It's hard to tell which I like best, I guess it's a good thing the author alternates.
Thanks for the chapter!

what a beautiful stories. gratitude is hard to express after all, we all there.

I have been craving for another story of Natsume since I've finished the anime. Whether the anime or the manga, they booth have this soothing feeling that immediately heals my mind and heart. So thank you for translating this ❤️❤️

Thank you for the translation! Origami's really a good ayakashi, giving our Natsume dreams and flowers as gift. It's a bit sad that Nyanko-sensei wishes to go on a journey after he's finished with the yuujinchou business. Really want him and Natsume to stay together...
Good to know that the next volume will be "intense". I don't mind the one-shot type of story, but still, serius arcs are the best because we'll likely get to see Natori and Matoba (my fav chara) again.

Man, this manga just keeps on getting better and better at making my eyes teary. Thank you for the translations!

@Leina_Cavallone I think when the Yuujinchou is finished and Nyanko-sensei goes on a journey is also the time Natsume dies from old age. He is human after all and to ayakashi like Nyanko-sensei, his life is fleeting but the time they stay together is precious. Personally, I think it would be a good epilogue if Nyanko-sensei on his journey stopped by and visit Natsume's descendant.

Thank-you for the chapter! This is my long-time favourite manga, so I'm always grateful for these quality scanlations.

@Kronous I'm definitely still curious about Reiko's husband! Really waiting for some pay-off from that teaser reference in that old exorcist house story ages ago. A bit interested in his dad, too - if both his parents could see ayakashi (if), could he also see them? And why did he die so young? Hmmmmmm...it's all intriguing.

Like gifting flowers. Like passing starlight. Like fluttering cherry blossoms.
A fleeting moment, yet an eternal memory.
