Why are succubi villains?
They don't "suck" out of malice, it's their nature.
As much as I loathe mosquitoes I don't call them a villain.

Actually she was wrong. he is that student always fooling around but get A in class

@kwendy Yeah, I almost added that same thing in my comment, but I kind of felt like it would have destroyed my joke.

@Equilibrium They are demons. Their whole point was to be creatures of the dark, trying to corrupt the mankind into sin, the enemies of all good and decent people. It's just in these times of postmodernism all old and originally intrinsic values have been questioned and turned upside down. Since well before Twilight, we started to get good vampires and demons. I guess it was even easier for the Japanese since their youkai never were quite like our demons, evil servants of Satan. So, the Japanese, when borrowing stuff from the Western mythology, could treat their morals as if they were the same as the Japanese youkai, for convenience.

Of course the Abrahamic religions demonised quite a few older mythological gods/beings, but the religions and cultures that originally gave birth to those mythologies are long gone, so apart from a cultural historical studies, the new definitions should rather prevail by default, unless a specific setting demands otherwise.

Honestly if it’s an opponent you know you can defeat them it’s understandable not to exhaust and possibly weaken yourself by going all out right form the start. But if it’s a protagonist with the power of friendship going all out immediately is a good option, but even then the chances of winning are minuscule

Well, Freeza knew he was the most powerful being in Namek, being the emperor of the universe and all. Plus, he also wanted to make Vegeta, Gohan and Kuririn suffer from stealing his chance at immortality, and give them a painful death. He also kept bragging that his weaker forms were a means for him to keep his immense power under control, since he himself can't do it in his true (final form), and there you have it. Legitimate reasons to no use the full power from the start - his change from 2nd to final form was his sadist side showing off, he already had the upper hand at that point.

@Equilibrium Welp a lot of recent works (manga/game) show succubus being a bit harmless, slutty, sex crazy hoes and is not someting I dislike is ficction after all, but in old mithology succubus were pretty dangerous demons, there is a ero game with them as villians and is gory
Succubus Prison ~House of Lewd Demons~

Going full power from the start is like hitting a goblin with meteor strike. Just a waste of the resources.

What the hell?! This succubus gets it wrong. Only real men wait till the last minute just to put their lives on the line...

It's like, say you're playing an RPG & have a very strong summon at your command. You come across a low level enemy, like a gremlin. Would you honestly use one of your summon on a weak enemy or just try and kill 'em the old fashioned way?
